Getting Motivated

Well as you all know I've had a slump since January I just can not get motivated, so I've now booked my ticket to the NEC in march to go to Miniatura I'm hoping that a few hours of perusing around there will kick me back into the full swing of things again.

I've ordered a couple of things on line and Im going to have another go a polymer clay when they arrive. I don't think I'm cut out for it but quite enjoyed my first attempt.

As for Monster Miniatures I have now added to my collection of designs that are in the wings ready to make up after looking through The World of Interiors Magazine that was passed to me from work. I've seen lots of pieces that I would like to try out in miniature, including a mirrored brick wall for my bathroom in Honey Cottage.

Monster Miniatures also has its own Facebook Page now Ive decided to save on Etsy and Ebay fees, all items will be available on there and here for 3days before being put into the store, so please like the page to see exclusive items before the store.

Free Delivery Etsy Voucher for Blog Followers

OK so February is here and I've still done nothing. I just seem to be so busy lately what with work and family. I know excuses excuses but my boss has just had a baby which has left me the only one there on a Wednesday and by the time I've finished making crystal chandeliers I'm not in the mood to start making a mess and doing mini makes at home.

Hello and Apologies

Firstly I would like to say Hello to my new followers and thank you for taking the time to follow my blog. If I can start getting myself back into gear then once I have reached 50 followers I will do a free give-away.

Secondly I must apologies to you all for my quietness of late I know I said this year I would try and blog more and get Monster Miniatures going but I started Weight Watchers last week and my mind has been completely consumed with what I can and can't eat to the point I have even been dreaming of food lol. I tried to finish off a couple of projects I've got on the go but I just haven't got any concentration at the moment. I'm really hope that within the next week or so that changes as I have so much to do still.

Failing everything I suppose I could always say February is a new month lol

Monster Miniatures Has Its Signature Piece In Store

I gave myself one last kick up the bum last night and made the mattress for the mirrored bed so it now available for sale through Etsy.

 
I have made my first two sales and I am working hard on new bits to add to the store.

The etched mirrors I make can be customized to your specification so if you have any preferences on what you would like to see then please let me know and I will see if its possible. The beds can also be etched or left plain if you wish.


I'm in two minds at the moment as to weather its worth also putting my items on Ebay, as I'm not sure how well Etsy is known about. I myself didn't know much about it until more recently.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my miniature friends who have supported me over the last couple of months and years lol. I would especially like to thank Helen who helped give me the confidence to push forward with this venture. While I'm thanking people I should also say thank you to my husband he has had 2 years of my "Should I, Shouldn't I" before I reached this point.

The bed will be going on soon I just need to make the mattress but I'm knackered now so that might have to wait until Monday.

New Day Fresh Start

Well its a new day and Im a lot happier today.

All the stress of yesterday is behind me, I've made a new bed and and some wall art. Everything is looking rosy again.

My deadline was Tuesday but I'm now possibly thinking as its by and not on I might open tomorrow or later tonight with a couple of bits on.
